Soccer Sportsmanship is Alive and Well
When Cesar Vallejo and Union Comercio meet in Peru’s Premera Division you can take all rules off the table. This time, it was a cheap goal from Cesar’s Piero Alva which violated the rules of good sportsmanship. After Union Comercio Goalkeeper Juan Flores collapse due to an apparent injury, Alva scooped up the loose ball and put it in the back of the net for a goal on the way to a 3-1 victory.
