NHL Ice Girls Celebrate Christmas

Ice Girls are a relatively new phenomenon in the NHL, unlike Cheerleaders in the NFL, or Dancers in the NBA. Their roles vary depending on the team, but the number of teams with squads of these young ladies is increasing each season. So despite the fact that some teams don’t even have them, through some diligent searching for Ice Girls dressed up for Christmas, we were able to put together a rather respectable collection. Even though the NHL takes a break for Christmas, it is a truly winter sport that lends itself well to holiday makeovers, as you can see from the variety of festive outfits these girls adorn. Really, who better to scoop up your ice with a shovel than a cute girl on skates dressed as Santa Claus?
