Mets and Rockies Had Weather Issues
Playing early April games outdoors in New York, Boston and other northern cities is sometimes a problem. Cold weather, freezing rain and fog are all common problems, but snow on the field is still an uncommon occurrence. That wasn’t the case in Colorado this week, where the Mets and Rockies were forced to cancel their game Monday due to piles of the white stuff.
