Two players who had no business fighting dropped the gloves Saturday, appearing like amateur tandem ice dancers after a drunken game of pattycake.
Washington Capitals defenseman Mike Green faced off against New Jersey sharp-shooter Ilya Kovalchuk. No word on whether the two stars agreed ahead of time not to land punches.
